Summer Medical Camp 2026 is a practical medical learning program for high school students and graduates. It introduces young learners to healthcare, medical technology, and clinical skills through guided activities, demonstrations, and mentorship.
The camp will take place at IRCAD Africa in Masaka from 13th to 18th July 2026. Sessions will run each day from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The course includes transport and lunch.
During the camp, participants will explore different areas of medicine and healthcare. Activities include robotic surgery demonstrations, suturing practice, Stop the Bleed training, virtual reality sessions, science trivia, AI ultrasound demonstrations, and taking vital signs.
Participants will also receive career guidance and expert mentorship. These sessions will help them understand different medical career paths and what it takes to work in healthcare, surgery, biomedical science, and medical technology.
By the end of the camp, students will have a clearer view of the medical field. They will gain basic practical skills, learn how modern medical tools are used, and connect with professionals who work in healthcare and innovation.
